Privacy Policy
Last updated October 8, 2026
This policy explains what information BenchToHome ("we") collects when you use bench2home.com and the BenchToHome app, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider), plus your role.
- Team information entered by coaches and guardians: team details, schedules, roster entries, attendance, RSVPs, announcements, messages, photos and documents.
- Player information such as name, jersey number, position, date of birth and, if a coach or guardian adds it, medical or emergency notes.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive payment status and amounts, not full card numbers.
- Usage information: basic, privacy-conscious product analytics such as page views and feature usage, which never include children's details.
Children's information
Player profiles for minors are created and managed by coaches and approved parents or guardians. Children's personal, medical and emergency information is never shown on public pages. Access is limited by database permissions to the team's coaches and the child's approved guardians. Guardians can view and edit their linked child's details, and can ask us to delete them.
How we use information
- To provide team features such as schedules, alerts, payments and sponsorships
- To secure accounts and prevent abuse
- To improve the product using aggregated analytics
We do not sell personal information.
Public pages
Teams are private by default. A coach can choose to publish a public team page, which shows only team-level information such as name, sport, schedule highlights and sponsors. It never shows players' or families' private data.
Cookies and advertising
We use essential storage to keep you signed in. Some public content pages may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized ads at Google Ad Settings. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Ads are not shown inside the signed-in app.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run BenchToHome, including cloud hosting and database services, Stripe for payments and Google AdSense for public-page advertising. They process data only to provide their services.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Admins can use two-factor authentication and manage active sessions.
Your choices
You can update your account and your linked children's details in the app. To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us and choose "Privacy."
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above.
